KUBIM Japan Study Trip 2019

A group of 39 students, 2 staffs and 3 professors of The Bachelor of Business Administration International Program in Marketing, Faculty of Business and Administrator, Kasetsart University (KUBIM) participated in a study visit to Tokyo, Japan from 24 to 29 January 2019.


   The study trip provides students with a theme of learning about marketing and business design for sustainability in tourism by knowing from the local business entrepreneurship, students have visited Oshino Hakkai, this village is Unesco site and dated back 1200-year-old with long tradition. According to Oshino Hakkai, KUBIM’s student has been visited a Farmers Market Strawberries. A digital farming technology has been developed in Japan for several years. For this trip gave the chance to student, to studies trend of smart agriculture related business or smart farmer and how to organization of the farmer markets related to the industry in Japan.


   KUBIM’s Student also has an opportunity to visit the following universities in Japan, Meiji University and Sophia University, both universities are the top private universities and most prestigious Japanese universities in Tokyo, Japan. Students has chance to attend an information session and campus tour provided by the instructors there. Both of them are now working in processing with Kasetsart University into agreements for signing of the academic cooperation as well.


   The main objective of conducting a study trip for students is to reinforce experiential required in marketing curriculum and to enhance students’ understanding of business operations. Going international creates unique challenges and more immersive experience by learning and practice in management education and to internationalize to KUBIM’s students.
