Sophia University and KUBIM First Year Students Field Trip ‘Makong Economic Corridor Study Tour’

The Bachelor of Business Administration International Program in Marketing (KUBIM) together with The Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EEC) held a special talk and presentation on the topic, ‘Makong Economic Corridor Study Tour’ on March 4, 2019, Room 706, 7th Floor, Building 4, Faculty of Business and Administrator, Kasetsart University.

   
   Dr. Thirarut Worapishet, Director of the Bachelor of Business Administration International Program in Marketing along with Dr. Paitoon Chetthamrongchai, Committee of KUBIM Program, together with 35 students from KUBIM 1st year students, welcomed a special group of 21 teachers and students from Sophia University, to joined this special talk and presentation. 


   The activities have separated for 2 sessions. The first sessions starts at 9 am runs through 11 am, a presentation begin by introduction to operations and management of The Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EEC) on the role of Industrial Development in Economic Growth from the industrial sector of the Eastern Region, and the second session begins at 11:00 AM, all of the participants were left Faculty of Business and Administrator and go directly to Amata Nakorn industrial Estate, Chonburi Province on a studies field trip.


   The main purpose of this trip is efforts to give students concrete experiences through field trips. The visit provided students with experience, knowledge and understanding of the overall management and operations of The Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee (EEC) through Japanese’s student overview. Also, to studies and compare the impacts of policies of The Eastern Economic Corridor Policy Committee through the overview of government and private sector. After a meeting has ended, all students has returned safely to University around 5 pm.
